Strategic Alignment with the NHS Long Term Plan

MyPsych is committed to providing high-capacity, evidence-based neurodevelopmental services that align with the NHS Long Term Plan’s objectives for mental health and elective recovery. By functioning as a seamless extension of primary and secondary care, we provide robust ADHD & Autism assessment and titration pathways designed to reduce systemic pressure and improve patient outcomes.

Clinical Governance & Quality Assurance

Our service is built upon a foundation of rigorous clinical governance, ensuring that every stage of the patient journey meets the highest standards of safety and efficacy.

NICE Compliance (NG87, CG142 & QS184)

All diagnostic protocols strictly adhere to the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) guidelines. Assessments are conducted using gold-standard validated tools (such as DIVA-5, ACE, and ADI-R) and holistic biopsychosocial formulations.

CQC Standards Aligned

Our clinical operations are designed to meet and exceed Care Quality Commission (CQC) standards for safety, effectiveness, and responsiveness in independent healthcare.

Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) Framework

Diagnoses are not made in isolation. Our clinical decisions are overseen by a multidisciplinary board of Consultant Psychiatrists, Specialist Nurse Practitioners, and Clinical Pharmacists.

Safeguarding & Risk Management

We maintain robust Level 3 Safeguarding protocols for children and vulnerable adults, with mandatory annual training for all clinical staff and a designated Safeguarding Lead.

Data Security & IG

We are fully compliant with Data Protection Legislation (GDPR) and are currently maintaining standards within the NHS Data Security and Protection Toolkit (DSPT) to ensure the secure handling of sensitive patient records.

Right to Choose

We are currently in the advanced stages of the Right to Choose (RTC) accreditation process under the National Health Service Commissioning Board standards. We are actively working to establish formal NHS contracts to facilitate patient choice and provide a cost-effective alternative to traditional secondary care waiting lists.
We welcome enquiries from Integrated Care Boards (ICBs) regarding our service specifications and subcontracting capabilities.

Our streamlined, digital-first assessment pathway significantly reduces the time from initial referral to diagnostic conclusion. This helps Trusts meet their Access and Waiting Time Standards without compromising clinical depth.

Robust Shared Care Protocols (SCP)

Our titration services ensure that patients are clinically stable and optimized on medication before a Shared Care Agreement is proposed to the GP. We provide comprehensive summary reports and ongoing specialist support.

Measurable Patient Outcomes

We utilize Patient Reported Outcome Measures (PROMs) and Clinical Global Impression (CGI) scales to provide data-driven evidence of treatment efficacy for commissioners.

Operational Efficiency

By utilizing an interoperable digital infrastructure, we reduce the “paperwork burden” on referring clinicians, providing clear, actionable discharge summaries.
